Anywhere I tin get an older version of excel for free?

I just entered university and I need to use excel for some of my classes and I can't afford to buy information technology right now. I'thousand not asking for the latest version, older versions from 2010 onwards are fine my teacher said. Any idea where I can find one online that's safe to download?

Check with your university'south IT department, lots of times your tuition/technology fee will allow you to have discounted or complimentary versions of software.

They should also take available computer labs for your use, yep?

Really? Never had it for microsoft to give things for free. How similar is information technology to the desktop version? I'one thousand non going to utilize information technology for anything also complex so I should be fine correct? If so I have found my saviour.

Google Sheets, which is free, tin can be exported/imported both ways I believe. Also helps that Sheets and Excel share like 90-95% functionality. Quite oft we'll use Google Sheets in this subreddit to demonstrate how to do something in Excel since the formulas are the aforementioned.

The master things you'll be missing are VBA/macros and Ability Query.
